Rihanna met the President of France and people think she's doing a better job than Donald Trump

We believe in you Rihanna.

PLENTY OF RIHANNA fans already consider the star to be their president.

Maybe it was her iconic White House photo that planted the idea in their heads, or maybe it’s simply the fact that she’s one of the coolest women on the planet.

For that reason, people are even more excited to see her working as a diplomat.

After months of working to support global education, including teaching schoolchildren in Malawi, Rihanna’s been travelling around meeting world leaders to help raise $3.1 billion for the Global Partnership for Education to help 870 million kids around the world get the education that they deserve.

Yesterday she met French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte to try and convince them to contribute to the educate fund for developing countries.

They seemed to get on pretty well.

Afterwards, Rihanna said that she “just had the most incredible meeting.”

Rihanna did not mention whether or not Macron agreed to help her raise the money, but the fact that she left “inspired and impressed” is probably fairly promising.

She has a “very big announcement” coming in September after speaking with the President and First Lady.

The 29-year-old particularly wants to help support education in conflict and crisis areas. She is doing her work through the Clara Lionel Foundation, which she is the head of.

She founded the organization in 2012 to fund “groundbreaking and effective education, health and emergency response programs around the world.”

Fans, once again, are calling for Rihanna to be the president of the United States.

Unfortunately, the fact that Rihanna is from Barbados and wasn’t born an American citizen is a bit of an obstacle on her path to presidency.

However, if there’s one thing that Donald Trump has taught us, it’s that pretty much anyone can become president. The normal rules don’t apply anymore. So maybe there’s hope.
